Fights & results

Taking a rest after spending 2 days in Malmö while assisting my fighters at the ring corner. It wasn’t the most successful time for us considering that all 3 fighters representing our gym lost. Maby Rasmus Olsson can add just a bit of credit to his account after he forced Alneekzap Por. Samranchi to an even encounter. Rasmus Had the advantage of his physical condition but Aneekzap had an advantage by being the far more experienced fighter having stadiums like Lumpinee & Rajadamnern in his fighting record. Although the facts we were still disappointed losing this semi final.
Our team just b4 Net was about to enter the ring

The fighter that did impress me at the day was an old friend witch now fights for 5 Star MuayThai in Stockholm.  He is an experienced fighter that have represented Karlstad Muaythai  7 years ago in the Swedish championships and successfully managing to win Martin Akhtar in the final. Andy Nguyen already has one Swedish Champion belt, next month the 25 of Januari he will have to face Karim Chorr for an guarantied entertaining fight!!!

Andys campaign this time started when he was to take on Mario from Varberg in the Quarter finals, in the first round we saw Mario using his punches hardly forcing the referee to an 8 count and putting Andy behind on points.  Andy came from behind and made big strikes all the rest of the fights in all rounds making the decision easy for the judges. In the semifinal a much more determent opponent was to stand at Andys way, it was Adel Ekvall. It was a nonstop war from the first moment until the last. Andy once again ending up with being the winner by an unanimous decision and now is waiting for the final vs Chorr in Falun the 25 of Januari 2013. This evening will be live on www.svtplay.se .
The team of the new gym with alot of experience 5 star MuayThai, dont Hesitate going there if you are  in Stockholm

The fighter we have from Karlstad that is going to fight for the title in the same night as Andy is Kalifen, he has got maby in this time the pound to pound hardest opponent in Sweden his name is Giang Hoang and his fighting for Fightgym Borås. Fighting Giang will be difficult tactically and physically but I will do my best to help my fighter in this Championchip fight for the 54kg title.

Please now take your time and look at a fight that has really couth my eye. Its from Lumpinee Stadium between Phenthai  113 pounds& Wanchlong 114 pounds. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eT42ex3k7vo&feature=share

Rasmus Olsson Semifinal fight vs Annekzap http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=wCSFv0okHlQ  Rd:2
Like you can see it was an even fight but the Thai wins with his experience. Please leave comments with your opinion.

The Next one is Andy in the Semifinal vs Adel Ekvall.
Enjoy & please leave your comments & opinions!

Championchip weekend

Well we just arrive in our local hotel in Malmö as it was the closest we could find to Arlöv, the place for the Swedish qualifications in MuayThai. I will be coaching 3 of my students tomorrow or Saterday depending on the draw witch is going to be held at the arena after the check weight I finished.

One of the fighters I am hoping for to do well this weekend is young Nanthiya Sirisawai or Net like we call her in the gym. She is fighting in 57kg and she is the fresh Junior Swedish Champion but this time   in her category she is forced to fight more experienced girls as Net still has the luck of experience but with her will and talent I do believe the Karlstad female fighter can do well.
Net losing weight at the gym 20 dec 2012.
Another one is Rasmus Olsson the fresh World Champions IFMA Bronz medalist  & Swedish Junior Champion. Young Rasmus will have more responsibility on his shoulders this weekend after everybody is expecting him to do well, and its nothing strange with that after his great achievements’ in Thailand & Russia.

Last one is fighting in 75kg, its nobody else then Morgan Ljung. His comeback was successfully accomplished managing to win 3 fights in 3 weeks, Still has a lot to prove consider he still haven’t met fighter from the upper level.

Not to forget Kalifen in 54kg that is set directly to the final 25 Januari vs his historic rival Giang Hoang. 3 Meetings so long with Giang has produced 1 draw & 2 losses.

Don’t Forget that all finals will be broadcasted live on: www. SVTplay.se    or if you are in Sweden you
could just watch SVT.

Nice to have MM Sports that provides you the best. Shin Guards & Gloves.

SM 2013

As you all probobly knows we left Poland with a defeat. Phenphet gave the Polish world champion a good fight, and was the fighter who made more dammege after 5 hard rounds, but as we knew allready b4 the fight that we need a KO for them to give us the belt. So in general we are not so dissapointed with the dessition. Any way now the Thai fighter witch is located in Karlstad Sweden has returned to training after being schedueld to fight for the MuayThai WKN World title 9 of Mars Next year in Denmark.
Att the moment i have 4 students that i am taking to the Swedish Championchips Qualifications in Hör a small city next to Malmö in South Sweden. I am hoping for the best for each one of them to get as long as they can in this Championchip, but att the same time i try to not presure them to mutch.

There is some kategories this year that will be verry intresting to follow. Specialy the 63.5 kg witch is the weight class witch i am the 2012 Champion. This year i would like to give most chanses to Christoffer Axelsson From 019 Örebro & Kim Falk from Drakstaden. With no dissrespekt to the other fighters in 63.5kg but as we are doing this at a profesional level  i alow my self to put the cards on the table and tell the public witch fighter i my eays has the most chanses to conkor this title.
In 67 it will be a harder competition, its a few fighters there that realy knows what they are doing, among them Andy Nguyen & Karim Chor.  So long for now, i will in short update you all in whats happening in the preperations for the Swedish Championchips.
Thanks to MM Sports for the new glows, They are great.
